Launched on December 4, the EventMan taster site has been introduced to enable users to ‘try before they buy’. A personalised log-in and password will give each user access to their own private data set. From here they can operate the system, add work items and notes and transfer data and attachments around their own site. The trial period is for 30 days.

EventMan, which was introduced earlier this year, manages scheduled and non-scheduled tasks, and will trigger a user to perform activities or prompt actions and procedures according to predefined dynamic workflows. EventMan generates automatic archives whilst offering open-ended reporting and management tools. Ultimately, one of its greatest advantages is that it helps companies to audit trail their business processes, through the sharing and tracking of data with external parties across the web.

Russ Cole, Managing Director, EuroSoft Systems (ESL) said: “EventMan is a feature-rich and sophisticated product which is highly adaptable to different companies requirements. The taster site allows potential users to see how the product would typically work in their own environment. We will also provide administrator log-in details to allow users to test out the administration functions. This way they can add extra users, user groups, workflows, cue cards and plug-in modules.”

Taster site users will be sent a ‘walkthrough tutorial’, which will steer them towards the functions they want to try, giving full explanations of EventMan’s features and modules.

ESL will also go a step further and provide a personalised demonstration model when customers are seriously considering the purchase of EventMan. This involves building a bespoke plug-in module for the potential customer’s specific application, using their own hierarchy structure and company data for the static data in the system. This will also be available to try for a 30-day period. These bespoke modules are developed further within the complete product to suit each customer's individual workflow requirements, and can be enhanced, extended and added to by the user.
